Last week we spent 6 days travel around Otago. First we went to Dunedin, then Queenstown (for a conference), then to Cromwell to visit our friend Chantal. We had a great time! The weather in the Cromwell area was actually hot (30 degrees- a real rarity in New Zealand). It has it's own hot and dry micro climate!
What a lovely trip you had. The gorgeous peonies remind me of Grandma because she always had great flowers. And the lawn bowling in the back ground--love it!!
ReplyDeleteBrad looks very debonair as he golfs with a back drop that is just "drop-dead" gorgeous!!!!
Yes the beaches in that area always look so beautiful and tropical. They are often windy though (and cold in the winter). Right after I took that picture some kids drove out onto the beach, a wave came up to where they were and liquefied the sand, and the car got stuck! Cars have been lost that way. Not sure what happened this time but it looked pretty frantic, and it didn't look like they would get it out. Hopefully the tide was going out- not coming in!
