Sounds like a fairytale. Og, Gog and Magog are three mountains that I went to with the tramping club yesterday. By the time we got to Magog I thought- we are going up that? But we did- and I am slowly starting to get used to the climbing. It's worth it once you get to the top!
Sweet! Lord of the Rings! You've climbed bigger mountains than that though, but you're right, the view of the land below is always worth it. Did Brad climb those mountains with you?
Yeah- it's not like the they were the highest mountains- but for a day hike the elevation gain was pretty good. Brad didn't come along. It was rated EasyModerate and we're going on a 2 day hike for the 1st weekend in May- so he stayed home.
