You did visit Hagley park when you were here- you probably remember the botanical gardens which are in it. It's really big though- so you probably didn't see the whole thing, and I think this fountain is a post-earthquake feature. You might find lots of things have changed when you come back. But the hope is that the city will eventually be better than ever!
